CPL Aromas COMAH Environmental Compliance Support
Integrated MAHRA, MATTE and DSEAR support responding to Competent Authority actions at CPL Aromas' Brixworth establishment.
The Project
CPL Aromas requested EnviroSolution's assistance with a number of Competent Authority legal actions and recommendations for its Brixworth site. The establishment designs, manufactures and distributes perfumes and fragrances and operates as a lower-tier COMAH site handling hazardous and flammable substances.
The Challenge
The operator needed a coordinated response covering several related regulatory risk-assessment requirements within the required deadline.
The Solution
The scope included a Major Accident Hazard Risk Assessment and Further Measures Review, a MATTE assessment following the CDOIF methodology, and a DSEAR risk assessment of decanting activities. Written reports were prepared for use in the operator's response to the Competent Authority.
