Urgent Padel Court Planning Condition Discharge
Fast-track multidisciplinary planning-condition work for new hotel padel courts in North West England.
The Project
EnviroSolution was asked to provide a fast turnaround for discharge of planning conditions attached to a hotel padel-court application. The conditions covered a Mineral Resource Assessment, SuDS and drainage, a geological site survey, Biodiversity Net Gain calculations, ecological preliminary risk assessment, roost assessment and habitat survey.
The Challenge
The work was urgent and some ecological requirements fell within the main bat-survey season, so desk-based and site-based elements needed to be coordinated quickly.
The Solution
EnviroSolution issued a proposal promptly and began the desk-based Mineral Resource Assessment and flood-risk/SuDS work immediately. Site-based ecological assessments and geological investigations were mobilised within two working days. Geological samples were expedited for analysis and the reporting was completed as results became available.
The Benefit
The reports were accepted first time by the Local Authority, avoiding resubmission delay and additional cost. The fast turnaround helped the wider project progress towards bringing the courts into use sooner.
